Fire and Gas Site Engineer

Job Description of Qualification and Experience of Site Engineer:

1. Site Engineer shall be available at site all the time.

2. He shall be the liaison between COMPANY and CONTRACTOR for all contractual

obligations

3. He shall be QCD approved Engineer.

4. He shall be responsible for CONTRACTOR’s resources, planning, monitoring and

controlling the overhaul WORK schedule and shall have working knowledge of SAP / MS

Project or other scheduling tools as approved by COMPANY.

5. He shall also be well versed with Oil & Gas Plant Safety requirements.

6. He shall be responsible for submitting all the reports and shall attend the CONTRACT

Work progress periodic meetings.

7. He shall conduct regular weekly/monthly coordination meeting with COMPANY

REPRESENTATIVE and review job performance providing status update such as job

completed/Job planned/Material status/manpower status, look ahead plan etc and

provide monthly report at the end of the month.

8. He shall associate and support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigation of any

F&G activity and follow-up RCFA recommendation.

9. He shall coordinate filling all required forms and requests for F&G activities like

Calibration reports/Work status/PMCR request etc.

10. Degree in Electronics /Instrumentation Engineering

11. Thorough knowledge of understanding and interpretation of Instrument Logic Drawing /

Location Drawings / Instrument Manuals /drawings etc.

12. Minimum eight (8) to ten (10) years experience in Oil and Gas Plants with at least three

(3) years work experience in Fire and Gas detectors and Protection Systems.

13. Good understanding of NFPA requirements of F&G Detection and protection systems.

14. Minimum of three (3) years experience in the Senior Supervisory level.

15. Computer Literate and shall be able to generate various reports.

16. Shall be familiar and have worked with SAP maintenance system and able to suggest

changes / modifications to Standard Text for System improvement.

17. Shall be conversant with all site coordination activities for F&G maintenance and will be

responsible to handle all record keeping of F&G activities.

18. He shall be proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR13,000.00 per month
