The Fire Captain plans, coordinates, assigns, directs, and participates in emergency and non-emergency operations and activities of an assigned company, shift, division, and/or station. May serve as the Incident Commander or other assigned supervisory function on emergency scenes. Ensures all assigned activities are carried out effectively, efficiently, and according to Department policies, procedures, and guidelines.
