Fire Fighting Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review fire fighting systems including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, FM‑200, NOVEC, and fire pumps.
• Prepare technical drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and progress.
• Ensure all fire protection systems meet UAE Civil Defense and NFPA standards.
• Prepare documentation for Civil Defense approvals, inspections, and final certifications.
• Support testing & commissioning activities for fire fighting and fire suppression systems.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and project reports.
• Assist in project planning, material estimation, and procurement coordination.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in fire fighting system design and site execution (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and Civil Defense procedures.
• Experience with hydraulic calculation software.
• Familiarity with MEP coordination and construction workflows.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
