Key Responsibilities
- Design and review fire fighting systems including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, FM‑200, NOVEC, and fire pumps.
- Prepare technical drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material submittals.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and progress.
- Ensure all fire protection systems meet UAE Civil Defense and NFPA standards.
- Prepare documentation for Civil Defense approvals, inspections, and final certifications.
- Support testing & commissioning activities for fire fighting and fire suppression systems.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, and project reports.
- Assist in project planning, material estimation, and procurement coordination.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in fire fighting system design and site execution (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and Civil Defense procedures.
- Experience with hydraulic calculation software.
- Familiarity with MEP coordination and construction workflows.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
