Fire Fighting Engineer

Our client, a prominent design consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical studies, equipment specifications, lighting calculations, grounding calculations, cable schedules, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities:

• Fire Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough fire risk assessments for various projects to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities.
• Fire Protection Systems: Define and size both active and passive fire protection systems to ensure comprehensive fire safety measures.
• Equipment Specifications: Develop detailed specifications for fire protection equipment, considering the specific needs of each project.
• Code Compliance: Stay updated with local and international fire safety codes and ensure all designs adhere to the regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, architects, and clients to integrate fire protection measures seamlessly into overall project plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in fire protection engineering, with a focus on risk assessment and system design.
• Proficient in defining and sizing active and passive fire protection systems.
• Experience in specifying fire protection equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international fire safety codes.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
