Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow our customer base within a designated territory. This role involves building relationships with first responders, law enforcement agencies, and fire departments, understanding their equipment, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for serving the law enforcement and fire community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with First Responders/Law Enforcement agencies and key decision-makers within your assigned territory.
- Create and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Gain a thorough understanding of our product offerings, equipment, accessories, and gear, to effectively present and sell to clients.
- Conduct on-site consultations with clients to assess their needs, provide product recommendations, and offer demonstrations as needed.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific requirements of law enforcement agencies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and attending industry events.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process, including order fulfillment, post-sale follow-up, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the company’s CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in an environment in a selling environment.
- Knowledge of fire equipment and/or public safety is a plus.
- Familiarity with law enforcement, first responders, and fire equipment and gear is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
