FIRE FIGHTING TECHNICIAN

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Fighting Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, fire pumps, hose reels, extinguishers, and suppression systems. This role ensures that all fire safety equipment operates effectively, is compliant with international standards, and provides maximum protection to people and property.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fire protection systems including sprinklers, fire pumps, hydrants, hose reels, and extinguishers.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of firefighting systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in fire protection equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, NFPA standards, and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls for system failures or fire-related issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, safety officers, and facility teams to ensure fire safety readiness.
• Assist in training staff on proper usage of fire protection systems and equipment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Safety, or Fire Protection Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in installation and maintenance of firefighting systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety standards, NFPA codes, and firefighting procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical skills.
• Certification in fire safety or firefighting systems is an added advantage.
• Technical expertise in firefighting equipment and suppression systems.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic knowledge is an advantage).
• Physically fit to handle firefighting equipment and fieldwork.
