Fire fighting technician

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fire fighting system installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems and related equipment.
• Familiarity with local fire and safety regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fire fighting systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of:
• Fire alarm systems
• Sprinkler systems
• Fire hose reels
• Fire extinguishers
• Fire pumps
• FM200 / clean agent systems
• Hydrant systems
• Perform testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Identify faults and carry out troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Ensure all works comply with local authority regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain service reports, inspection records, and maintenance logs.
• Attend emergency breakdown calls when required.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site teams during project execution.
