Fire Fighting Technician (with DL & Fit-Out Experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Fire Fighting Technician with hands-on experience in fire protection systems and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should possess a valid driving license, be capable of working independently, and have a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and system installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair fire fighting systems (sprinklers, hose reels, pumps, fire extinguishers, etc.)
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documents related to fire protection systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and functional testing of fire safety equipment.
• Work closely with site engineers and project managers to ensure proper integration during fit-out works.
• Ensure compliance with local fire safety codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, Civil Defense).
• Prepare daily work reports and communicate job progress.
• Travel to various project sites (valid driving license required).

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in fire fighting systems installation and maintenance.
• Prior experience in fit-out projects is mandatory.
• Familiarity with fire alarm, suppression, and protection systems.
• Must hold a valid UAE (or relevant country) driving license.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication skills and team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in fire protection systems or related technical field.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Civil Defense or equivalent).
• Experience in both residential and commercial fit-out projects.
