Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Fire Fighting and fire alarm project teams.
- Design, review and approve fire fighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, FM200, CO2 systems) and fire alarm systems (addressable, conventional, voice evacuation).
- Ensure all installations comply with UAE Civil Defense and local safety regulations.
- Review and approve shop drawings, layouts and as-built drawings for fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
- Conduct site inspections, quality audits and commissioning of fire protection and fire alarm systems.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets and resource plans for fire fighting and fire alarm works.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of fire alarm panels, detectors, and associated systems.
- Coordinate with MEP, civil, architectural and safety teams for project integration.
- Provide training to fire fighting personnel on fire alarm operations, emergency response and system maintenance.
- Maintain records, reports and compliance documentation for authorities and audits.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in fire fighting and fire alarm engineering in GCC.
- Experience managing fire fighting teams or departments.
- Familiarity with UAE Civil Defense regulations is mandatory.
- Experience in project handling, installation and commissioning of fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Must have a valid UAE driving license.
