In fact, in the first 5 months since Técnicas Reunidas İstanbul started, Engineering Activities have been developed from referred office for more than 40 different projects and proposals worldwide from 20 different countries, which stands as remarkable sign of work and workload stability.

Functions:

Development of the following deliverables and activities:

Basis of design for fire protection and fire & gas detection systems:

• Fire Protection Philosophy and specifications (active and passive protections)
• Fire and Gas Detection Philosophy and specifications
• Fire and Gas Detection Block Diagram (F&G system architecture)

Fire protection and F&G detection basic and detailed engineering designs for FEED and EPC projects:

• Fire and Gas Risk Equipment Lists
• Fire Hazardous Zones Layouts
• Fire Water Demand Calculations
• Fire Water System Hydraulics Calculations and Reports
• Fire Fighting System Layouts
• Fire Water P&IDs
• Fire Water Line Lists
• Fire Protection Equipment Data Sheets
• Fire & Gas Detection and Alarms Layouts
• F&G Equipment Data Sheets
• F&G Cause and Effect Diagrams
• F&G I/O List
• Fire suppression system for buildings: basic design, specification and requisition.
• Design of other extinguishing systems (foam, chemical powder, water mist systems, etc.)
• F&G Mapping Study and reports.
• Coordination with Company for Fire Water Network Interfaces (tie-ins, etc.) and F&G system interconnections.
• Material requisitions: requisitions for inquiry, technical tabulations and requisitions for purchase
• Technical management of material orders with vendors and subcontractors.
• Site technical support from operational office.

Requirements:

• MSc in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or similar
• At least 10 years of experience required
• Fluent English (speaking and writing)
• Microsoft office suite knowledge
• Hydraulic Calculation Software (Pipenet, Omnicad, etc.)
• Fire and Gas Safety Modelling Software (CFAST, CFD models, etc.)
