In fact, in the first 5 months since Técnicas Reunidas İstanbul started, Engineering Activities have been developed from referred office for more than 40 different projects and proposals worldwide from 20 different countries, which stands as remarkable sign of work and workload stability.

Functions:

-Development of the following documents:

• Fire Protection Philosophy and F&G,
• Passive Protection Philosophy and sectorization of buildings,
• Specifications for detection and alarm in buildings and F&G in Plant,
• Fire Protection Specifications in Plant and Buildings,
• Lists of Potential Fire Equipment,
• Block diagrams of the F&G system,
• Architecture of the Detection and Alarm System,
• Cause/Effect Matrix of the F&G system,
• F&G system input/output signal lists,
• Fire Protection Systems P&IDs,
• Fire Water Line Lists,
• Fire Water Demand Calculations,
• Hydraulic calculations of firefighting systems,
• Data sheets for fire protection, detection and alarm equipment, and F&G systems,
• Fire zone layouts,
• Layouts of F&G equipment (in plant),
• Detection and alarm equipment layouts (in buildings),
• Layouts of Fire Protection equipment (in plant and in buildings),
• F&G Mapping Study.

-Preparation of requisitions and technical tabulation of fire protection and gas detection equipment and materials,

-Design, specifications and requisition of fire protection systems in buildings. ,

-Technical management and follow-up of orders with vendors, integrators and subcontractors,

-Construction support,

-Review vendor documents,

-Sporadic site visits for supervising Fire Protection and F&G installations, commissioning and start up.

Requirements (Summary):

• Master’s or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering,
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience,
• English proficiency at B2 level or equivalent,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications,
• Experience using hydraulic calculation software, preferably PIPENET,
• Proven experience in fire safety design for Oil & Gas and/or Power Plant projects (highly valued),
• Strong knowledge of API RP 2218 regulations and NFPA codes.
