Fire Protection Draughtsman

Draughtsman - Fire Protection

Main Tasks:

• Use CAD software to design fire systems (sprinklers, alarms, hydrants, suppression systems).
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure correct placement of firefighting equipment.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather and apply technical details.
• Follow fire safety codes (e.g., NFPA, local regulations).
• Update drawings based on team feedback or regulatory changes.
• Prepare as-built drawings after installation.
• Maintain records of drawings, revisions, and project documents.
• Help with material calculations and preparing bills of materials.
• Visit sites to gather data or confirm system installation.
• Collaborate with other teams (mechanical, electrical, civil) for system integration.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of drafting experience (firefighting or mechanical systems preferred).
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of fire safety standards (e.g., NFPA, IFC) and building codes.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Can read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Hydraulic calculations knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Setup:

• Office-based with some site visits.
• Immediate start available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Fire Protection Designing : 4 years (Required)
