Fire Protection Engineer

1.Responsible for execution, supervision, and coordination of all firefighting and fire alarm systems in the power plant and auxiliary buildings.When necessary, complete other Mechanical tasks according to arrangements；
2.Review and verify FLS / Shop Drawings to ensure compliance with ADCD, NFPA, and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.
3.Coordinate with Owner’s Consultant (PMC), EPC team, subcontractors, and suppliers for approvals and clarifications.
4.Prepare and review technical documents including Method Statements, ITPs, IR/MIR, and As-built drawings.
5.Supervise and witness pressure testing, flushing, pump testing, deluge/sprinkler testing, and commissioning.
6.Participate in ADCD submission, inspection, and final approval, ensuring all materials have Civil Defense approvals (UL/FM or equivalent).
7.Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines to resolve space/interface conflicts.
8.Ensure firefighting layouts in Fuel Tank, GT Enclosure, Transformer Yard, and Pump House meet design intent and ADCD safety requirements.
9.Manage subcontractors and monitor progress, safety, and quality of installation works.
10.Support the preparation of O&M manuals and final handover dossiers.

1.Valid ADCD Engineer License preferred
2.NFPA or equivalent Fire Protection certification preferred
3.Basic HSE training certificates preferred
4.Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering。
5.Min. 7 years experience including 4 years in UAE。
6.Experience in power, industrial, or oil & gas projects。
7.Proficient inNFPA 13, 20, 22, 72, 15, 30, 850 and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code，andAutoCAD、Navisworks，Microsoft software。
8.Fluent in English, spoken and written。
9.Experience with ADCD submissions & authority inspections preferred。

1.Willing to work full-time at the Abu Dhabi project site.
2.Able to manage multinational subcontractor teams.
3.Experience in mechanical supervision will be an advantage.
4.Available to join within 4–6 weeks after offer.
5.UAE Driving License is an advantage.
