Fire Safety Officer

Devsol Managed Services is looking for a Fire Safety Officer for one of its Packaging client located at Shersha, Karachi.

We are looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented Fire & Safety Officer with 3 to 5 years experience to manage, inspect, test, and ensure compliance of all fire protection and detection systems in accordance with standards and local fire authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Fire Hydrant Systems, including diesel, electric, and jockey pumps, hose reels, and PRVs.
• Supervise Sprinkler Systems design, installation, testing, and maintenance as per Standards.
• Oversee Fire Alarm Systems, including smoke, heat, and beam detectors, control panels, and system programming in line with Standards.
• Conduct fire risk assessments, gap analysis, and technical audits to ensure system effectiveness and compliance.
• Ensure fire pump testing, commissioning, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, contractors, and local fire authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Plan and conduct fire drills, routine inspections, mock exercises, and prepare compliance and audit reports.
• Maintain documentation, test records, and certifications required by regulatory authorities.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of hydrant, sprinkler, and fire alarm systems.
• Hands-on experience with fire protection and detection systems.
• Ability to review technical drawings, hydraulic calculations, system layouts, and test reports.
• Familiarity with local fire safety regulations and authority approval processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Relevant fire & safety certifications will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
