Fire Sprinkler Designer - Tampa

The ideal candidate for this position with have working knowledge of NFPA Standards and Building code and be able to properly utilize HydraCAD/SprinkCAD/AutoSPRINK design software programs. NICET Certification and Stock Listing Experience is preferred but not required. Minimum of five years fire sprinkler designer experience is required.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Familiar with overlaying mechanical, electrical and plumbing background to provide permit and above ceiling coordination shop drawings
• Prepare blueprints using CAD systems
• Modify and refine designs to conform with customer specifications
• Present designs and reports to management and/or customers for approval
• Attend job site meetings as needed
• Able to interpret project documents and specifications
• Able to work with multiple functions and teams
• Use established business processes and software to achieve and track progress and results
• Able to successfully, and independently, plot/scan/print designs
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required
