Compensation: $25-$40/Hourly

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential properties. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure fire protection systems meet applicable codes and standards.

This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and dedication to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with the fire sprinkler design and applicable codes and standards (including NFPA 13, 13R and 13D standards).

• Diagnose and repair system deficiencies, leaks, and malfunctions.

• Perform routine service and preventative maintenance on wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.

• Conduct system testing, including flow tests, alarm tests, and backflow device testing.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and team members.

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation or service.

• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.

• State fire sprinkler license or capability of obtaining.

• Backflow certification (preferred).

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments.

• Experience with commercial and industrial fire protection systems.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
