Position Overview We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Protection Professional capable of handling multiple roles across the fire protection industry — including design, estimating, sales, and field inspections. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm design, field operations, and the ability to perform site visits and client walkthroughs for estimating purposes. This is a full-time position offering career growth and hands-on variety every day. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review fire sprinkler and fire alarm system designs in accordance with NFPA and California Fire Code standards. Utilize industry software such as AutoCAD, HydraCAD, SprinkCAD, Revit, or FireCAD. Perform field inspections, site surveys, and walkthroughs for design verification and estimating. Assist with sales and estimating — including plan take-offs, client meetings, and proposal preparation. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, fire marshals, and AHJs during the design and installation process. Maintain detailed and organized project files and documentation. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in fire protection design, inspection, or estimating. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant fire sprinkler/alarm design software. Strong understanding of NFPA standards, California Fire Code, and local AHJ requirements. Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Compensation & Benefits Salary: Based on qualifications and experience. Company Vehicle and Phone Provided (initially).
