Fire Suppression - Service Technician

Arizona Protection Systems, a leading fire protection service provider, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fire Suppression Technician to join our growing team in Mesa, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining a variety of fire suppression systems across commercial and industrial settings. We are willing to train the right motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a keen interest in the fire protection field.

Regular Schedule: Mon - Fri 7-4 PM.

Ability to occasionally work a modified schedule 5am-2pm is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and maintain fire suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair fire suppression systems.
• Conduct Annual/Semi-Annual maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
• Safe driving practices.
• Track inventory and maintain needed tools for daily work orders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong understanding of fire protection principles and fire suppression system types (preferred, but not required)
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals (preferred, but not required)
• Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication both verbal and written. Filling out reports will be a significant part of work.
• Capable of working independently
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
