Fire Watchers – Oil And Gas | Shell Project

We are hiring Fire Watchers for our client, a reputed oil & gas company in Qatar, for a project in Ras Laffan. Candidates must have previous Shell project experience along with knowledge of hot work monitoring and fire safety procedures.

Number of Positions: 5
Location: Ras Laffan
Mobilization Date: 15th May 2026
Working Hours: 10 hours per day
Duration: 3 months (extendable)
Work Days: Saturday to Thursday
Salary: QAR 3,000
Food, accommodation, and transportation provided by the company.

Role Overview:
The Fire Watcher will be responsible for monitoring hot work activities, identifying fire hazards, and ensuring all safety precautions are followed at the project site. The role requires attention to safety standards and the ability to respond quickly to emergency situations within industrial and oil & gas environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor hot work activities and ensure compliance with fire safety procedures.
Identify and report unsafe conditions or fire hazards at the worksite.
Maintain fire extinguishers and related safety equipment in designated areas.
Coordinate with supervisors and safety personnel to ensure safe site operations.
Respond immediately in case of fire or emergency situations.

Requirements:
Previous experience in oil & gas projects is preferred.
Knowledge of fire watch duties and safety procedures.
Ability to work in industrial environments and follow safety protocols.
Valid QID and immediate availability preferred.
