We are looking for a Buyer & Firearms Curation Specialist who balances the grit of a negotiator with the precision of a historian. If you know your way around a rare Winchester or a vintage Colt and have the digital savvy to manage high-end inventory, we want you on our team.
The Role
You will be at the front lines of inventory acquisition, working alongside industry experts to identify, appraise, and secure high-value firearms. This isn't just "buying and selling"—it’s about preserving history and managing the logistics of a high-growth brand. This is an person, on-site position. No remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curate & Acquire: Assist in the identification and appraisal of firearms, optics, and ammunition.
- Negotiate: Develop and maintain relationships with sellers to build a world-class inventory.
- Digital Mastery: Utilize our advanced inventory management systems to track and list items with 100% accuracy.
- Logistics & Prep: Manage shipping and receiving logistics to ensure rare pieces are handled with care.
- Market Presence: Help showcase our inventory through high-quality listings (knowledge of GunBroker.com is a major plus).
What You Bring to the Table
- Firearms Expertise: A deep-seated knowledge of firearms is essential. You should know the difference between a "shooter" and a "collector" piece.
- Tech Savvy: You must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and feel right at home navigating the internet.
- Communication: Exceptional "people skills" for negotiating with vendors and collaborating with our internal team.
- Operational Excellence: Ability to type 30+ WPM and a sharp eye for detail.
- Integrity: Must be legally eligible to possess a firearm and pass a criminal background check and drug screen (including marijuana).
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- The Vibe: Clean, modern, and highly organized warehouse/office space. We are professional, creative, and enthusiastic about being the best in our niche.
- The Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week), Monday–Friday during your 4 week training, then transitioning to a permanent Friday - Tuesday schedule.
- The Hours: Your choice between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Physicality: Expect a mix of office work and hands-on inventory handling. You should be comfortable walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
