Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic

The Town of Hatfield Massachusetts, through its Fire Chief, is seeking qualified applicants for two Firefighter/ EMT positions. The Town is looking to hire one Firefighter/Paramedic at a rate of $28.13 an hour and one Firefighter/EMT-Basic at a rate of $25.27 an hour. Shifts average a 42 hour work week with shifts typically 16 hour days. Interested parties can apply at www.hatfieldmafire.org. a Fire Chief. Hatfield has a population of roughly 3,100, a total area of 16.83 sq. miles and is directly accessible by Interstate Rt. 91 and Rts. 5 & 10. The combined Fire/Ambulance /Emergency Management Department has a budgeted staff of two full time firefighters/EMTs in addition to the Chief and a roster of call and per-diem firefighters and emergency medical technicians.
