OCFD will add four Firefighter/EMS positions in November. You could be one of them!We are looking for skilled Firefighter/EMS clinicians to become full-time or part-time members of our team. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age and meet the following requirements at the time of application: High School Diploma or GED Valid National Registry Paramedic / Maryland Paramedic/ National Registry EMT / Maryland EMT (must upload to application) Maryland Firefighter I certification, National Pro-Board Firefighter I certification or equivalent at the time of application (must upload to application) Paramedic license preferred Current BLS Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certified (must upload to application) Valid Maryland Class C driver’s license or the equivalent of a state of license; Maryland Class B driver’s license preferred (must upload to application) Starting Compensation*Firefighter/EMT Basic $21.88/hour / $51,210/annualFirefighter/EMT Intermediate $24.01/hour / $56,177/annualFirefighter/Paramedic - new $26.34/hour / $61.626/annualFirefighter/Paramedic - experienced $27.65/hour / $64,797/annual *Based on 45-hour work weekAnnual bonuses (up to $2000) for part-time personnel working needed shifts/volume. Additional $250 bonus for rescue swimmer certification/operation.This job will stay open for applications until June 26, 2026.
