Position Mission:

To lead and manage the HVAC installation department by ensuring high-quality workmanship, on-time project completion, team development, and a consistently excellent customer experience.

Overview:

Comfort Solutions is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Manager to oversee all HVAC installation operations. You will be responsible for the performance, scheduling, training, and support of the install team—ensuring each job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

This role is ideal for a technically skilled leader who can balance team management with operational discipline, and who takes pride in delivering outstanding results and mentoring the next generation of installers.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the HVAC install department, including scheduling and staffing
Conduct job planning, walkthroughs, and post-install inspections to ensure quality and code compliance
Hire, onboard, train, and mentor HVAC installers and apprentices
Monitor job performance, provide coaching, and support technician growth
Coordinate with dispatch, sales, warehouse, and service teams to ensure smooth workflows
Ensure installs are completed on schedule, within budget, and with minimal callbacks
Track departmental KPIs and implement process improvements as needed
Resolve escalated jobsite or customer issues professionally and promptly
Enforce all company safety procedures and installation standards
Maintain strong customer relationships through follow-up and post-install service

Process Discipline: Drives operational consistency and quality control
Requirements:

Qualifications:

5+ years of HVAC installation experience, including leadership or crew management
Deep knowledge of residential HVAC systems, codes, and best practices
EPA certification required; NATE certification preferred
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Ability to read blueprints, scope jobs, and estimate timelines accurately
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must pass background check and drug screening
