DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF FIRESTOP TECHNICIAN:
- Install Firestop systems using firestop sealants & mineral wool for a variety of applications
- Examples of caulk installation include sealing around through penetrations in walls and floors, applying caulk to bottom and head of wall assemblies and sealing large openings
- Additional installations include spray applications which involve operating a sprayer to apply firestop material to edge of slab joints
- Safety practices and protocols must be followed at all times, ongoing safety training/compliance will be provided
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ Years commercial caulking or waterproofing
- Strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation
- Working cell phone
- Ability to remain professional at all times, even in stressful circumstances
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Boom/Scissor lift experience
- Able to read blueprints
- Familiarity with UL details
