First Grade Teacher (Full-Time)

We are seeking a passionate, faith-filled First Grade Teacher to join our growing team, committed to Christian education

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, focusing on literacy, math, social skills, and physical development.
  • Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respectful behavior management.
  • Incorporate learning technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum enhancements and participate in school-wide activities such as library services and special education initiatives.
  • Provide individualized support and tutoring for students needing additional assistance, including those with autism or requiring early intervention.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral observations while ensuring compliance with education administration policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
  • Proven classroom experience working with young children in a school setting; private school experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques.
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating learning technology into daily activities.
  • Familiarity with special education practices, working with children with autism, and early intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $32,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
