Emerald Isle Realty's Housekeeping Department is hiring part-time First Impressions Team (FIT) members for the summer season! Our First Impressions Team focuses on all things exterior for our premier homes - cleaning decks, pool areas, outdoor furniture, among other tasks detailed below. Our Mission

Our First Impression Team members work independently and with our office staff, our housekeepers, inspectors, guests, and homeowners to ensure each vacation rental home exterior meets or exceeds Emerald Isle Realty expectations.

• Training is provided
• Must have dependable transportation - this position requires driving your own vehicle to and from properties, and mileage reimbursement at $15.00 per day is allocated.

• Lifting, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and pulling is required

As a FIT member, the full scope of your work will include:

Outdoor Furniture

• Arrange all outdoor furniture to correct placement
• Check all furniture for damage/anything broken – report any damages
• Treat, clean, wash off, or lightly pressure wash – report any permanent staining
• Report if any cushions/upholstered outdoor furniture needs professional cleaning

Decks, Carports, Entryways

• Blow off leaves, sand, debris
• Remove any spiderwebs/cobwebs
• Treat and wash any staining, mildew, rust, etc

Outdoor Showers

• Spray out – no sand, mildew, debris left behind
• Report any damages or safety concerns

Docks and Walkways to the Beach

• Walk these areas, spray off and clean as needed, remove vine and branch overgrowth, and report any safety, Maintenance, or general concerns

Pools and Hot Tubs

• The hot tub cover is on and secure
• No trash left behind on the ground around the hot tub and pool
• Water hoses, skimmers, any pool equipment, are placed neatly in their respective areas (hoses are wound back up, skimmers are hung up, no trip hazards, etc)

Golf Cart Care (if applicable)

• Ensure the key is returned to and left in the designated location between guests
• Fully charge the golf cart in preparation for the next arrival
• Inspect the cart for overall condition (tires, lights, brakes, and any visible damage)
• Wipe down and clean all surfaces as needed, including seats and steering area

General

• Remove any trash from the grounds
• Wash outdoor trash and recycling bins twice monthly
• If there’s significant vines, shrub, plant overgrowth that’s occurring over walkways, steps, into pool areas, etc, cut it back, and report so the lawn care provider can be notified.
• Discard any broken or otherwise unusable pool/beach toys
• Put any pool/beach gear that’s in good condition in a guest-accessible outdoor closet/area so that it won’t be blown around/damaged
• Check all outdoor areas for anything that needs to be addressed by Maintenance or the homeowner, and report it – especially safety concerns

This is a seasonal part-time position. All work is performed on weekends (May - October) with the opportunity for weekday work, if desired by the candidate, and as needed. We love working with our local educators, school system employees, and college students - we are understanding with your return to school schedule.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
