Overview

Duties
- Prepare fresh food items following established recipes and safety standards to ensure quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and display areas with products, ensuring proper rotation and cleanliness.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, change giving, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Provide friendly customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, upselling menu items, and promoting specials to enhance sales.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and cleaning protocols.
- Support food prep activities like bussing tables, organizing supplies, and assisting in kitchen operations to keep the service flow seamless.
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or quick service restaurants is highly preferred; familiarity with café or grocery store environments is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and maintaining sanitation standards within the food industry.
- Strong skills in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS are advantageous; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Proven customer service experience with a focus on sales techniques like upselling to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen or food prep procedures is highly desirable.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
