FIS Application Support

We are looking for a Card Management Specialist with strong expertise in FIS Cortex, FIS IST, and end-to-end card operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide production support for FIS IST Switch and FIS Cortex, covering issuing, acquiring, authorization, settlement, and product/risk rule configurations.
• Manage card lifecycle processes including EMV, NFC, contactless, and tokenization, ensuring regulatory and scheme compliance.
• Integrate and support ATMs, POS, payment gateways, and e-commerce channels with the switch.
• Work with global schemes such as Visa, MasterCard, NAPS, AMEX, and UPI, including certification and compliance activities.
• Develop/customize using FIS SDK/Cortex (C, C++), ATM states, screens, and APIs/web services.
• Troubleshoot using ISO8583 message formats and perform PL/SQL/Oracle 19c database operations.
• Support major card projects such as EMV migration, product launches, and switch/ CMS migrations.
• Coordinate with vendors, security teams, and internal stakeholders for deployments, enhancements, and issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, security standards (PCI, EMV), documentation, RCA, and reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, enhance card services, and support business teams with operational guidance.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Production Support for FIS IST/Cortex (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of authorization rules, acquiring modules, risk rules, product setup, and POS support.
• Hands-on experience with ISO8583, EMV, VBV, PCI, NFC, tokenization, and scheme compliance.
• Practical skills in Oracle 19c, PL/SQL, and FIS SDK/Cortex development (C/C++).
• Experience in handling Visa/MasterCard certifications, EMV issuing/acquiring, and payment channel operations.
• Good understanding of card lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, and payment switching.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and vendor coordination skills.
• Knowledge of banking systems, security practices, DR/BCP, and API/web service integrations.
