The job of fiscal systems analyst is done for the purpose of serving as a technical resource to contracting districts, assisting in coordinating fiscal data processing, responding to district inquiries related to the processing of fiscal information, audit, and compliance, and developing and providing on-site training.
This position may be eligible for remote work/telecommuting. Individual must reside within the NEWISC service area.
The salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.

ABILITY is required to schedule activities, meetings, and events, gather, collate, and classify data, and use basic, job-related equipment. Flexibility is required to independently work with others in a variety of circumstances and analyze data utilizing defined but different processes. Ability is also required to work with a significant diversity of individuals and groups, work with data of varied types and purposes, and utilize job-related equipment. In working with others, problem solving is required to identify issues and create action plans. Problem solving with data frequently requires independent interpretation of guidelines. Responsibility
Responsibilities include: working under limited supervision following standardized practices and methods, directing other persons within a small work unit, and monitoring budget expenditures. Using resources for other departments is often required to perform the job's functions. There is some opportunity to impact the organization's services.
Working Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
Experience
Job related experience within specialized field is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related area preferred.
Certificates & Licenses
Valid driver's license, required auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation.
Travel
The individual will be required to travel as it is an essential function of the job. Overnight stays may be required.
