We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fishmonger to handle, prepare, and present seafood products in a hypermarket setting. The role involves ensuring freshness, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and store fresh fish and seafood deliveries.

Clean, scale, gut, fillet, and portion fish according to customer requirements.

Ensure all seafood products are fresh, properly labeled, and attractively displayed.

Maintain proper temperature control and storage conditions.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management and ordering.

Provide customer assistance, including product recommendations and preparation advice.

Ensure work area, tools, and equipment are clean and sanitized.

Minimize waste and ensure efficient use of products.

Comply with company policies and local health regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Fishmonger or in seafood handling (preferred).

Knowledge of different types of fish and seafood.

Skilled in cutting, filleting, and seafood preparation techniques.

Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Ability to work in cold and wet environments.

Good customer service and communication skills.

Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy loads.
