Fit-Out Engineer

The Fit-Out Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing all technical and site-related activities for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures that work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate site works including carpentry, joinery, gypsum, MEP coordination, finishes, and furniture installation.
• Ensure work is executed in compliance with approved shop drawings and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Prepare daily site reports, monitor progress, and highlight delays or issues.
• Inspect and ensure quality of materials and workmanship.
• Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Assist in project handover, snagging, and close-out documentation.
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve on-site issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
• 3–5 years’ experience in fit-out and interior projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of joinery, finishes, and interior fit-out execution.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling software (preferred).
