Fit Out Engineer

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Review project drawings, specifications, material submittals, and contract documents.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, and work schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients for smooth workflow.
• Ensure all work is aligned with project timelines and milestones.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise daily site activities for joinery, gypsum works, partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, and other interior finishes.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to design, quality standards, and approved materials.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Verify dimensions, leveling, and alignment of installed elements.

3. MEP Coordination

• Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams to ensure services align with interior layouts.
• Check openings, provision, penetrations, and clearances for proper installation.
• Ensure MEP works do not conflict with interior finishing.

4. Quality Control & Compliance

• Implement quality assurance procedures throughout the project.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety standards, and municipality regulations.
• Prepare snag lists and ensure all defects are rectified before handover.

5. Materials & Procurement

• Identify material requirements and raise purchase requests.
• Review and approve materials based on project specifications.
• Monitor delivery timelines and manage site storage.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, and inspection records.
• Assist in preparing monthly progress invoices and variation claims.
• Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or construction projects (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of drawings, materials, finishes, and site execution.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
