Fit Out Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

We are looking for a Fit Out Engineer with a strong background in interior fit-out to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of completed interior projects by managing post-handover support, snag resolution, and client service.

This role is critical to maintaining client satisfaction, ensuring smooth defect rectification, and supporting the seamless operation of high-end commercial, residential, or retail fit-outs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform post-handover inspections and identify snags or defects in interior fit-out works.
• Address and resolve service calls related to joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and decorative finishes.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand service issues and manage expectations.
• Coordinate rectification works with in-house teams, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare service and snagging reports, maintain documentation, and ensure proper handover after defect resolution.
• Assist in minor repair works when needed during defect liability periods.
• Ensure service activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
• Support the Facilities Management (FM) team with observations on interior-related MEP issues, if applicable.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in a service, snagging, or post-handover support role within the interior fit-out industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of interior finishes, materials, and construction detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/shop drawings.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination within interior works.
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
• UAE/ driving license preferred.
