Fit-Out Project Coordinator (Engineering Background)

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Fit-Out Project Coordinator with an engineering background to join our project delivery team. This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day coordination of fit-out projects, ensuring smooth operations between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

A major part of this role is document control – maintaining accurate, up-to-date project records and ensuring all documentation flows efficiently between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main Document Controller for the project, ensuring proper management, filing, and distribution of all project documents (drawings, submittals, approvals, correspondence, reports).
• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing fit-out projects.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Prepare and track project schedules, progress reports, and site documentation.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
• Assist with procurement coordination, material submittals, and approvals.
• Follow up on project deliverables, deadlines, and action items with all stakeholders.
• Support in resolving day-to-day technical or operational issues that may arise on-site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or related field).
• 2–5 years of experience in fit-out, construction project coordination.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and fit-out processes.
• Proven experience in document control and project documentation management.
• Knowledge of project planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
