Fit-Out Project Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fit-Out Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage all technical and planning aspects of interior fit-out projects, ensuring timely delivery, accurate documentation, and high-quality execution. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities across project stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and perform cost estimation for fit-out works.
• Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and progress tracking reports.
• Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate and submit material approvals, technical submittals, and shop drawings to consultants/clients.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project compliance.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accuracy and constructability.
• Support project managers in daily site coordination and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety standards, and project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, and materials used in fit-out works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project/Primavera (or similar tools).
• Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
