Fit Technician & QA

Role Overview:

Responsible for checking product quality and ensuring correct fit as per approved specifications before bulk production and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work jointly with design and buying teams from design dockets to sampling for Men’s and Women’s wear.

· Inspect garments/products for defects, stitching, finishing, and overall quality.

· Conduct fit sessions on models/mannequins and provide accurate feedback.

· Verify measurements, size charts, and specs against approved samples/tech packs.

· Approve pre-production and top-of-production samples.

· Document inspection/fit reports and communicate issues to production teams.

· Add technical specifications in tech packs including measurements, grading, and tolerances.

· Review all development samples for fit and construction on live models and mannequins.

· Address supplier queries with solutions to ensure timely submissions.

· Attend PPM meetings to identify and reduce risks related to embellishments, workmanship, construction, and measurements.

· Review vendor performance by analyzing PP hit rate and testing report ratios each season.

Skills & Requirements:

· Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and quality standards.

· Strong measurement and fit evaluation skills.

· Attention to detail with problem-solving ability.

· Diploma/Degree in Fashion/Textile/Garment Technology.

· 2–5 years’ experience in quality and fit checking.
