Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Fitness Consultant to join our health and wellness team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supervising customized fitness programs tailored to the needs of individuals and groups, with a strong focus on safe and effective results.

This role requires advanced knowledge in exercise science, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate clients toward a healthier and more active lifestyle. The consultant will also play a key role in assessing fitness levels, providing professional guidance, and ensuring a high standard of service aligned with client expectations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver customized fitness programs based on clients' needs and health conditions
• Conduct fitness assessments and monitor progress
• Ensure the safety and effectiveness of all exercises and equipment usage
• Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, healthy habits, and lifestyle improvements
• Motivate and support clients to achieve their fitness goals
• Supervise daily operations of the fitness facility and maintain high standards of service
• Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide a holistic approach to health
• Stay updated on the latest trends and research in fitness and wellness
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and program adjustments
• Promote a positive, energetic, and inclusive workout environment

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Exercise Science, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field
• Professional certification from a recognized health or fitness organization
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a fitness facility and 3 years in a supervisory or consulting role
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of exercise physiology and biomechanics
• Understanding of body energy systems and the ability to develop tailored exercise programs accordingly
• Background in healthy nutrition with the ability to communicate nutritional guidance clearly
• Ability to design safe, progressive, and personalized fitness programs for individuals and groups
• High motivational skills and a passion for promoting health and wellness
