Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Health & Fitness Manager in execution of all fitness programs, classes and services set by business to meet the needs of members/clients.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to Personal Trainers, Group Exercise Instructors, and Swim Instructors.
  • Support Health and Fitness Manager in developing and managing staff schedule.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of fitness areas, including studios, pool areas, and training spaces.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any issues.
  • Assist Health & Fitness Manager in managing the fitness department budget and help monitor expenses.
  • Conduct regular performance check ins with the team members and provide constructive feedback to team members to promote their professional development.
  • Support Health & Fitness Manager in organizing ongoing training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure all fitness programs and practices comply with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
