FITOUT AUTOCAD Draftsman

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fit-Out Draftsman with strong technical abilities and excellent proficiency in drafting tools and software. The ideal candidate will prepare detailed drawings for interior fit-out projects, working closely with engineers, designers, and the site team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery drawings, marble/metal/glass drawings, and as-built drawings for fit-out projects.
• Convert design concepts into precise technical drawings using CAD software.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure all drawings meet project requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and update drawings accordingly.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from the technical team and clients.
• Maintain organized drawing records and ensure timely submission.
• Work closely with production and site teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Tools Proficiency:

• Excellent command of AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D is a bonus).
• Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of joinery detailing, marble finishing, metal works, and interior fit-out standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Skilled in site measurement tools (laser measurement, levels, etc.).
• Good understanding of materials and fabrication methods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, or Interior Design.
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in interior fit-out drafting (preferably in UAE).
• Knowledge of UAE regulations and codes is an advantage.
