Fitout & Joinery Draftsman

• Prepare detailed 2D/3D shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting lists for items like kitchens, wardrobes, wall panels, and counters in compliance with standards and client specifications.
• Collaborate closely with the project engineers, manager etc. to interpret their visions and transform them into executable plans.
• Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess project feasibility, ensuring that all designs are practical and achievable.
• Utilize CAD software to produce 2D, enabling clients and stakeholders to visualize the final product before construction begins.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including material lists, cutting lists etc. and project timelines, to facilitate effective project management.
• Provide technical support to the production team during the manufacturing process, addressing any design-related challenges that arise.
• Strong understanding of joinery construction, materials, hardware, and finishes.
• Diploma / ITI / Bachelors degree.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in joinery design or a similar role is crucial for understanding industry nuances.
