Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Overseeing the entire fit-out lifecycle, including budgeting,
scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation.
Coordination: Working with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and communication.
Technical Oversight: Reviewing drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for accuracy and feasibility, ensuring compliance with design intent and standards.
Site Supervision: Managing on-site activities, including workforce management, quality control, and safety compliance.
Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving technical issues and challenges that arise during the fit-out process.
Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to management and clients.
Budget and Schedule Management: Tracking project costs, expenses, and timelines, ensuring projects stay within financial constraints and meet deadlines.
Quality Control: Conducting site inspections and implementing quality control processes to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Safety Management: Ensuring that safety protocols and health standards are maintained at all times on-site.
Subcontractor and Supplier Management: Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and services.
Material Procurement: Ensuring timely procurement of necessary materials, coordinating with the procurement team to avoid delays.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Construction/ Fit out Background: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequences, and processes.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Project Management Skills: Experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and challenges.
Quality Control Skills: Understanding of quality control processes and standards.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software like Primavera P6 or MS Project is often required.
UAE Experience: Experience working on fit-out projects in the UAE is often preferred.
In essence, a Fit-Out Engineer acts as the technical leader on site, ensuring that the interior finishing is executed to the highest standards of quality, on schedule, and within budget.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,500.00 per month
