Fixed Asset Manager

Role Purpose :

The Fixed Assets Accountant will oversee fixed assets activities to ensure accurate accounting, proper asset lifecycle management, and alignment with the organization’s financial objectives. The role supports decision‑making through analysis, reporting, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Fixed Assets Management & Control

  • Manage and oversee fixed assets records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Monitor asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and write‑offs in line with approved policies.
  • Lead periodic physical verification of fixed assets and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare fixed assets analyses and reports to support management and decision‑making.
  • Provide insights and recommendations related to asset utilization and portfolio optimization.
  • Support annual CAPEX budgeting by analyzing asset data and requirements.

Policies, Procedures & Compliance

  • Develop and implement fixed assets policies and procedures aligned with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure consistent application of controls across all fixed assets processes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors on fixed assets‑related matters.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Analyze business requirements and identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation.
  • Improve accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of fixed assets processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members involved in fixed assets processes.
  • Contribute to overall finance team objectives and performance.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance , or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in fixed assets accounting, preferably within a large or regulated organization.
  • Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, CAPEX, and financial analysis.
  • Experience working with auditors, vendors, and consultants.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
