Our Fixed Income platform is looking for a Fixed Income Trader. In this exciting and dynamic role, we’ll trust you with day-to-day fixed income management including trade execution/optimization, exposure monitoring, and providing hedging strategy recommendations.

We’ll trust you to:

• Execute/negotiate all fixed income asset (including but not limited to US IG, US HY, Global, Emerging Markets, structured products, convertibles, municipals), foreign exchange (spots, forwards, options), derivatives (IRS, CDS, futures) related to a variety of products (both developed and emerging markets)
• Analyze and track macro market trends and movements for investment idea generation
• Liaise with internal contacts, such as marketing, accounting, and settlements, as well as external contacts

You’ll need to have:

• 2 to 3 years of relevant fixed income experience (in trading and investments)
• Ability to identify and interpret relevant market-moving information in a time sensitive manner
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, electronic execution platforms, and related order management systems
• Ability to move quickly while being thoughtful and thorough
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $100,000 – $125,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
