Support the Retail Experience from Behind the Scenes

We're seeking a detail-driven Fixture Purchasing Agent to join a high-impact team supporting retail store projects for a major Fortune 500 retailer. From new store openings to remodels and fixture refreshes, you'll play a key role in ensuring all materials—from fixtures to signage—arrive on time, within budget, and to spec.

What You'll Do

  • Purchase fixtures, signage, and related materials for retail stores, corporate offices, and distribution centers
  • Issue and manage purchase orders while tracking project budgets and timelines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international vendors
  • Forecast project needs using Excel and support annual bid strategy
  • Communicate status updates and delivery risks to internal project teams
  • Reconcile invoices and resolve vendor discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Analyze fixture supply levels and proactively resolve shortages or delays
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with store planning, project management, and installation teams
  • Handle special purchasing projects as needed

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of purchasing experience (fixture or store planning environment strongly preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple purchase cycles at once
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in resolving issues independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Smartsheet experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of budget tracking, cost control, and vendor negotiation
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Collaborative mindset with a customer service orientation
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or similar purchasing software a plus
