Flatbed CDL A Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with the ability to operate various types of vehicles including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and more. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while delivering freight across designated routes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all aspects of driving and loading/unloading activities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or similar equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading freight when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining logs and records.
• Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all driving activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,756.30 per week
