Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a flatbed dump truck. This role involves route driving to deliver freight efficiently while following all safety regulations and company policies. Flatbed experience preferred but willing to train.

Duties

• Local deliveries and home daily.
• Western Star 2022 Heavy Duty- Automatic- Well maintained truck
• Shift hours are typically 7am-3pm. Opportunities for overtime when busy during the landscape season (roughly 9 months)
• Operate commercial flatbed dump truck.
• Execute route driving to deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Common freight is concrete block/pavers on wooden pallet with heavy duty shrink wrap.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatcher
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Reports directly to General Manager

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trucks or as a delivery driver.
• Strong navigation skills.
• Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and clients.
• Must pass a background check and DOT drug screening as part of the hiring process.
• A commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies regarding commercial driving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
