Aussie Pet Mobile North Charlotte – Lake Norman is a fast-paced, growing mobile pet grooming business serving the Lake Norman and North Charlotte region. We operate a fleet of seven mobile grooming vans and pride ourselves on reliability, safety, exceptional customer service, and a supportive team culture.
Role Overview
The
Fleet Coordinator ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our grooming van fleet and supports our groomers in the field. This position manages all van maintenance and repair scheduling, oversees cleaning team, performs light repairs, and maintains clean, organized facilities. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday 9:30 - 6:30 and occasional weekends. Reports to the owner.
Key Responsibilities- Fleet Management & Maintenance
- Schedule and coordinate all van repairs, service appointments, and state inspections.
- Pick up and deliver vans to and from service appointments.
- Maintain accurate vehicle history and maintenance records in Simply Fleet.
- Conduct routine van inspections.
- Perform light repairs (e.g., lights, loose hardware, vehicle fluid refills).
- Ensure vans are stocked with required supplies.
- Complete weekly restock runs to our satellite lot in Concord, NC.
- Oversee weekly van assignments.
- Cleaning & Facilities
- Manage and schedule van cleaning teams in Mooresville and Concord.
- Participate in daily van cleaning.
- Inspect vans for cleanliness and readiness.
- Inspect salon and office for minor repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot and workspaces.
- Operations Support
- Support groomers in the field for issues such as lockouts, flat tires, and supply needs.
- Assist groomers in the field with large dogs and pets with special needs.
- Assist with small office repairs.
- Maintain inventory for vans and cleaning teams.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve fleet safety and efficiency.
Qualifications- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors.
- Comfortable with apps/software.
- Problem-solving mindset and calm demeanor.
