Fleet Coordinator / Transportation Operations Specialist

Overview
EMT Transportation LLC is seeking a highly organized and motivated Fleet Coordinator to support daily transportation operations. In this role, you will oversee fleet activity, coordinate drivers and dispatch, and ensure efficient movement of freight. Your ability to manage logistics, track performance, and communicate effectively will play a key role in maintaining smooth and reliable operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily fleet operations, including driver assignments and load scheduling
• Monitor shipment progress and provide real-time updates to drivers and customers
• Communicate with dispatchers, brokers, and drivers to ensure efficient routing and on-time deliveries
• Track fleet performance, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules
• Maintain accurate records of loads, driver logs, and transportation data
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Assist with resolving delivery issues, delays, or route changes
• Support documentation, reporting, and administrative logistics tasks

Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, or transportation operations preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and fleet tracking tools
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fleet management or trucking operations
• Knowledge of ELD systems, routing, and DOT compliance
• Background in freight coordination or logistics planning
• Bilingual (English/Russian or Spanish) is a plus

Pay: $24.90 - $30.00 per hour
