Fleet Dispatcher

Job Overview
As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient freight delivery. You will be responsible for managing schedules, communicating with drivers, and optimizing routes using transportation management systems.

Duties
- Dispatch drivers and coordinate freight movements
- Utilize Oracle Transportation Management or similar software for planning and tracking shipments
- Analyze transportation data to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Conduct data entry for accurate record-keeping

Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle Transportation Management or similar dispatching software
- Familiarity with GPS systems for route optimization
- Knowledge of freight operations and transportation planning
- Strong analytical skills to assess transportation data
- Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or transportation management is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
