Fleet Executive

Job Responsibilities: -

1. The candidate is responsible for managing the garage, vehicles engagement and monitoring of vehicle movement

2. Coordinates with Tata service centre for repairing BD vehicles in time.

3. Coordinates with Mechanic and tyre mistri for repairing of vehicles and tyres

4. Engagement of vehicles in different mines as per plan

5. Maintaining records of BD, Shift roaster, Drivers, diesel, DEF etc.

6. Engagement of drivers to ensure the running of all vehicles

7. Tracking of vehicles live position in GPS

8. Coordinates with Mines team for loading of vehicles

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the company fleet, including trucks, loaders, excavators, and light vehicles.
• Plan, schedule, and track vehicle maintenance, servicing, repairs, and inspections.
• Monitor vehicle GPS tracking, fuel usage, and running cost reports.
• Ensure compliance with RTO regulations, insurance renewals, permits, road tax, and fitness certificates.
• Develop preventive maintenance and breakdown handling protocols.
• Oversee driver recruitment, training, performance, and discipline.
• Maintain fleet documentation, logs, and MIS reports.
• Coordinate dispatch planning and vehicle allocation based on business requirement.
• Ensure safety compliance, accident reporting, and claim management.
• Optimize fleet utilization and reduce operating cost, downtime, and fuel wastage.
• Build vendor relationships with fuel stations, garages, spare part suppliers, and insurers.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and compliance.
• Ability to manage breakdown situations under time pressure.
• Proficiency in GPS software, fuel tracking tools, and MS Excel.
• Excellent coordination, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Leadership skills to manage drivers and support staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical/Automobile preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in fleet operations/logistics.
• Experience in mining / coal transport

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
